Todays outing was down to the wonderful Abbey House Hotel in Barrow. For Laura and Jonnys wedding, it is always such a pleasure to work at this venue, all the staff are so friendly and helpful and the hotel grounds provide a spectacular backdrop for some great photography.
Part of the gardens where converted into a laser clay pigeon shooting range and all of the guests had a fantastic time. I declined the opportunity as I just knew I would not manage to hit a single one :-).
The happy couple decided to surprise the guests with two singing waiters. This went down really well and even prompted a dancing session in the middle of the wedding breakfast room.
Thank you to you all for making us feel so at home..

Paula and James Wedding
Paula and James Wedding Blog
We had an amazing day with these two nut cases. Paula and James tied the knot at the amazing Lanercost Priory and then on to the fantastically quirky Kirklinton Hall for the reception and evening festivities. Even the weather did not dampen their spirits as it is quite normal here in Cumbria it decided to chuck it down with rain. Thankfully it was short lived and cleared up in time for some awesome photo’s around the building and surrounding gardens.
For the evening reception they provided a BBQ and a series of fire pits outside in the grounds.

Laura and Jono’s wedding had a nautical theme owing to the fact that the Groom is in the merchant navy some of his colleagues were on hand to provide a guard of honour with swords as the happy couple came out of church. They were basically locked in until they had a kiss..
Following the ceremony the day continued at the amazing Askham Hall for the wedding breakfast and evening reception. It is always so nice to have everyone outside to enjoy the sunshine and beautiful gardens.
Lynn and Tims Wedding Day
Lynn and Tims Wedding Blog
Sunny Stockport for todays wedding. Lynn and Tim held their ceremony at Norbury Church in Hazel Grove before moving on to the amazing Mere Court Hotel for the wedding breakfast and reception.
A great friend of ours, Mike Cullerton, was Master of Ceremonies with his very own inimitable style of laughs, but all the time keeping an eye on proceedings - it is always great to meet up with him.
Another first for us today was Stuart Barkley who was there to provide a live painting of the wedding breakfast, he even invited the bride and groom to add a few little touches to the finished art work.
The evening reception went of with a bang (literally) with 2 enormous confetti cannons.
